A higher perspective, a sobering expanse of visual space, a breadth of fresh air and view, soothing red lights of the dusk from #telegraphhill . The climb is worth the prize
.
According to @hubermanlab the view of a far and open horizon during the times of dawn and dusk is a powerful natural method for balancing the nervous system
Peter Orlovsky age 21 with our first car “The Hearse,” old side-windowless flower delivery truck, Telegraph Hill a block up from our apartment-rooms 1010 Montgomery Street near Broadway corner. We drove down to Los Gatos to visit Cassady family myself at wheel that one only time; and motored to Yosemite. Car cost $125.00. San Francisco summer 1955. The Oakland Bay Bridge shimmers on a cool March evening. Got to love the view from Telegraph Hill near Coit Tower of the kinetic light wizardry known as the “The Bay Lights”. 10 March 2018 2018 © Michael Mercado // lost-tokyo.blogspot.com // lost-edo.tumblr.com // www.facebook.com/Lost.Edo #OaklandBayBridge #BayBridge #Shimmer #Lights #BayLights #NorthBeach #CoitTower #TelegraphHill #SanFrancisco #California #NoFilter #OriginalPhotography #NikonD600 #Nikon #D600 (at The Coit Tower)

I go down the opposite side of telegraph hill, which brings me through a residential area & the Grace Marchant garden. It’s a bit steep getting down this way- maybe not the best route for someone scared of steep drops, especially the stairs at the end!
