Three Days of Echo

Well would you look at that...Three Days of Echo is coming up again in a little over a month. And it's our third year. They say good things come in threes, so we're leaning into that and the fact we've got three seasons of content to mine, and adding a sprinkling of fairy tale structure magic.

This year the event is running on February 11th-13th 2022. You can use as many or as few of the daily prompts as you want; they’re only there to give you options.

February 11th: Once Upon A Time…

Season One - beginnings - blossom - meet cutes - meet uglies - true love’s first... - any other beginning you can think of or idea related to the number one

February 12th: Be Careful What You Wish For…

Season Two - middles - middle of the relationship - middle of an argument - wither - forbidden fruit - second chances - any other middle or idea related to the number two

February 13th: Happily Ever After

Season Three - endings - cliffhangers - bloom - lasts - when the clock strikes twelve - good things come in three - any other kind of ending or idea related to the number three

Happily Ever After

Their lives had finally settled down, it was a relief for everyone. Each of them being able to refocus on their personal drives and flesh out their lives as individuals as well as with their partners. Something that made Max pinch himself every morning, because Liz Ortecho had married him.

Sure, she’d had cold feet on the day. Rosa having to practically yank her out of the building. But the moment she saw Max all her nervous energy had melted away.

I used to think it had to be a choice- you or the science. And then, I finally figured out, it’s you and the science.” Seventh: Liz points the rifle at Max and says, “I knew you’d show yourself.” Max is panicked as he says, “No, no, no. Liz.” Liz then turns and shoots Jones. Eighth: Max and Liz kiss in her bedroom.]

The leather satchel tapping against her hip as she strolls to the tower, her leather pants are stuck to her legs with sweat making each step uncomfortable. But she didn’t have many options, the palace guard would be looking for her. She tilts her head back taking in the sheer height of the tower, eyes narrowing. There were no steps, no ladder, or any other perceivable way to get to the top.

Only a small window, which was left open to the elements. Liz sighs, “this is what you get Parker.”
