lol, it was a typo anon, legit I spent so much of my time typing about one Max Evans on my phone that it’s autocorrect always assumes mad is supposed to be max and will change it (if I don’t forget to go back, lol), so yeah, rip my autocorrect IM OBSESSED WITH THIS ANON btw, so contextually most of the Smallville characters are gonna be roughly four years older than the rnm characters (except Lex, he’ll be ten years older)
sweetest pairing: imma go with Lana/Max here, because I was just rambling about how they are so similar the other day, like both really into old classics and exploring the world for the love of it, they’d be the couple who did book swaps right after finishing their novels and then discuss themes all day
most intriguing pairing: Dallas/Clark, like it would be so interesting to watch Clark learn to confront a lot of the ways in which he was raised have made him lack a certain softness to people at large, and what better way than to fall in love with an alien preacher who believes in everyone in such a genuinely soft way that it would challenge all the ideals his father had instilled in him, would make him softer, show him how to really having nurturing and meaningful relationships with people who view the world differently to him, and Clark would offer Dallas a unique perspective on being alien and human and his loyalty would really fit so well with Dallas
