Help me save my cat

This is Roxy, my emotional support animal and my best friend. She’s been in and out of the vets for a few months for anxiety, infections and the removal of a growth in her ear.

I got the sample they took from her ear sent off to be tested, and it came back as a malignant tumour. She has cancer. We don’t know how bad it is yet.

Best case scenario, its localised to her ear canals and she can have them removed. I’ve been told that it would probably be about £950 per ear.

Otherwise, she needs to get an MRI to see where else the cancer has spread, which averages at about £2500.

And worse case scenario, I would need to cover the cost of her euthanasia and getting her ashes returned to me.

I recently lost my job and I’m beginning to struggle to keep my head above water, and I’m scared I’ll have to choose between my future or keeping my best friend. If you can spare anything, or even just share this, I would be so grateful. Roxy has done so much for me and gotten me through some of the hardest times I’ve had. I can’t lose her.

TL;DR: My cat has cancer and I can’t afford to treat her.

UPDATE 23/09/21

Thank you to everyone who’s donated so far, every bit helps. I took Roxy into the vet two days ago for a checkup and some new medication, which seems to be helping so far.

The vet said that most likely the cancer is localised to her ear canals, which means the surgeries to remove them have a good chance to clear it up once and for all.

At £950 per ear, not including post surgery care, our official goal now is £1900.
