Another quick note about TADC episode 9 spoilers

It is revealed in 9 that Jax pushed his mother and left her body to lie on the floor. Now, I haven't phrased this in the best way, but basically, his mother was *seriously* injured. As in, we don't know how bad the injury is, but she doesn't *move*. She is left lying on the floor, not moving, possibly dead. This is very, very serious.

And Jax leaves her to die. He runs away.

Now, whether Jax's mother dies or not, we don't know. We'll never know (unfortunately).

But this should be taken seriously. If I EVER come across any fans after 9 that try to defend Jax's behaviour, I won't be happy. I don't think you need to be a medical expert to understand that someone left unmoving on the ground is a very serious event, and shouldn't be minimised or treated as 'not a big deal'. I have some experience in this field, but in simple terms, the human body is very fragile. If you bang your head on the floor (depending on where), you could get a blood clot, brain damage, possibly even die. I don't care how bad Jax's relationship with his mother was. The way the show frames the event is very sexist - we never hear Jax's mother's side of the story. She doesn't even speak. She's a victim of domestic abuse.

The indie animation community is so hostile towards criticism, treating all of it like personal attacks and the people criticizing as if they're "anti-indie." We shouldn't hold animated indie shows to lower standards just because they're indie; if anything, writers should meet the same writing standards as professional shows do. You can critique indie shows and still very much love and support them.

People need to quit treating indie creators like they're "soft babies" who need to be shielded from criticism. A vital part of being a creator is learning to accept criticism and recognizing that you can improve in certain areas so your next story can be better.

Gambit absolutely knows advanced cardistry, but he doesn't show off the more complex tricks because they can come off as cheesy or corny, and that isn't his style.

He would never tell you, but whenever you ask him to show you those tricks, take a genuine interest, and ask him questions, it makes him absolutely giddy. He hides it very well.

NOTICE FOR PSYCHOTIC PEOPLES LIKE ME AND THE NEW TOMODACHI LIFE: Please please pretty pretty please be careful while playing Living the Dream, esp if you’re currently unmedicated!!!

The game treats the Miis like they’re real people and makes zero mention ever that they are not, and only ever refers to them and their POV as if they are real and you are their caretaker! While playing this honestly messed with my head pretty badly at times and made me worry a lot on if I was hurting real people/not doing enough for real people while I was playing!

I cannot imagine how much worse this would be for someone who’s unmedicated, non-dormant, or experiencing breakthrough symptoms! Do please be careful and PLEASE remember to have a way to reality check yourself while playing the game!!!

Also: If you’re not psychotic, please reblog this anyway!!! It may not seem like a big deal to you but these kinds of things are REALLY important to know for us psychotic folk in a world that is both hostile and negligent to us and our needs!!!
