attention!

hello kpop stan cuties!!

so I've seen a lot going around on how to help and make a difference in the black lives matter movement. and theres a specific one I would like to point out, that I think us stans would be great at it.

on youtube, a person named zoe amira posted an hour long video that highlights black excellence and activism with tons of ads. 100% of the money made from the ads is donated to organizations that support the movement. basically, streaming is donating.

of course, absolutely donate directly if you are able, however this is a great alternative for those of us that are in a situation that doesn't allow.

we are no strangers to streaming, and I'd argue that we are some of the best at it. we break view records all the time, so let's do our best in streaming to truly make a difference :)

ok so I'm happy this got to so many people, but I follow her on twitter and she had to take it down for disrupting yt guidelines. but while it was up, we raised a crap ton of money!! good job everyone. I'm going to leave this up cuz theres a lot of other stream to donate vids still on yt so it's still relevant, just not this specific one. :)

I want to use my platform to express how utterly important it is to demand justice for George Floyd, a black man who was murdered horrifically by a police officer on Monday. Sadly this isn't the first time something like this has happened, and it won't be last if action isn't taken. I urge you all to sign the petition on Change.org or text FLOYD to 55156 to sign a petition to arrest the monster pig that killed this innocent man. I am not black, and I will never truly feel the betrayal and hatred of the police system the way black Americans do. I am so, so sorry and my heart aches for you all. To everyone who isn't black or a person of color: please take action to do what is right. If you don't advocate for justice, you are part of the problem.

I know I dont have that massive of an audience but I'm gonna do what I can with the platform I have❤

there have been fancams going around on twitter and other social media that after a few seconds turn into gore and things that can be traumatic for a lot of people. and I'm talking about seriously triggering stuff. I've seen too many people get too traumatized by it, so I want to make sure that yall are aware, and that yall are being more careful than normal.

if you've never heard of it before, definitely reach out to the stans you trust cuz I'm not super knowledgable about it. stay safe everyone!!
