Eclectic Collective is about friendship, music and visual arts. Curiosity is the driving force behind a bunch of guys who decided to escape the boredom of an antique village, looking for new words and new colors to convey a fresh mind-style. A wave of brand new ideas for a multi-cultural breathe: the blog is a channel to discover new talent, connect with people and seek collaborators but EC is more. A crew of djs, interactive designers, programmers, graphic designers and musicians with the aim to organize and promote events to spread the culture of contamination and networking in and out of the urban bubble. In collaboration with Circuito OFF and now working to promote their own artists, EC crew is always focused to collect inputs, samples, frames to make original projects happen: projects which reflect the multiple relationships between art and life, art and nightlife, art and YOU. "We know how to scream but we prefer to listen"

Dear followers,
in some days we will migrate to a new platform, leaving beloved Tumblr.
Come back to visit us at the same URL (http://www.eclecticollective.com).
The shady collective, who have spent the last year and a half releasing sublime 12″ singles on Dusk and Blackdown’s Keysound label, will release their debut album on April 2.
LHF - a grouping consisting of Amen Ra, Double Helix, No Fixed Abode, Low Density Matter, Octaviour, Escobar Seasons, Solar Man and Lumin Project - make tracks rooted in the whole history of UK dance music. Mostly operating at dubstep tempo, they regularly throw open the floodgates to allow influences from London and further afield to flood in: jungle, whose sci-fi flecked percussive intensity is particularly audible in Double Helix's tracks; UK garage and two-step; Wu Tang-style hip-hop dread, and the astrally minded beats of LA's Brainfeeder crew.
It's that approach that's made them a fresh prospect in a dividing dubstep scene. Enjoy the Amen Ra hypnotic set!
It seems like the absence has been forever for some reason, but Dntel - the moniker of producer Jimmy Tamborello, who is 1/2 of The Postal Service - is coming back with a new studio record. The electronic artist will be dropping the album Aimlessness on June 5th at Pampa Records. “Bright Night” is a glitch instrumental track that will put you at ease while also putting your imagination at work.
Urban Dictionary about "Feeling fuzzy": a feeling when, after smoking or consuming THC, you get the unwarranted paranoid feeling that there are police (the Fuzz) everywhere, whether it be other cars, or people.
We’re pretty sure that’s not what Kel McKeown aka Kelpe was thinking about when he made this track for Svetlana Industries but it’s good to know, right?
"I've been hunting down that elusive paradox. To create something that didn't sound like what I've done before. But was also unmistakably me. It's quite a maddening task."
"To me 'Iradelphic' is looming, ambiguous, radiant. Glowing, whole, invincible, complete." - Clark
Released 2nd April (UK) & 3rd April (USA) 2012 On Warp Records
There’s something quixotic about Francis. His world is inhabited by improbable vegetarian Texan zombies on Mexican mushrooms, all thumbs and two left feet. They build those head-nodding toys for feet-shuffling kids. Terry Gilliam is their leader. He’s wearing those red & blue cardboard glasses we were told were 3d when we were kids. He’s hammered on cough syrup. He says he’s making a remake of A Fistful of Dollars. But he’s only got a Polaroid. Drink from my cup he says, with his regal tone, king-sized and street-wise - an easy task you might say when you can count your streets with both your hands - as he rolls them out, lazy beat by hazy bleep. I feel like Don King. I feel like chewing on a wafer. This colour’s not right. Everything’s plastic.
