Made this for the World Percheron Congress coming up in July. I'll be tabling there July 6-11.

Keeping ahead of this stuff so I maximize my time to work on Greenhorn Trail! Chapter 4 is on the way, I promise. There are a lot of pieces in play, but not to worry they're all still spinning.

Starting to suspect that my ocs are in an unfortunate middle ground for Art Fight where human-only artists aren’t gonna draw them bc they’re furries but then the average furry isnt gonna be interested in drawing them either because they’re not easily identifiable as any real world species of animal/popular fantasy animals nor are they stylized similarly to look like one.

I’m not just saying this for a lack of attacks but also because the characters that I have gotten the most attacks for (by a significant margin) have been the ones that are way more recognizable as specific animals or they’re creatures like dinosaurs or dragons which the average person is also enthused to draw.

IDK. Not a big deal its just… a little unfortunate

ok 10 days later and i think my theory has been proven i've only gotten one attack so far this whole art fight. I guess I haven't had the motivation to seriously attack anyone so its kinda whatever but dude each year I get less and less attacks somehow LOL??? i really do think this is just because i hid all of my more generically-animal characters.

I still need to update some character designs so some of them are hidden right now so i cant even pull those out to increase the character diversity bc #nomotivation aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

WHATEVER its whatever. I even need to update characters i currently have up right now so i guess i'll just. return to the soil or something

ACTUALLY new strategy im gonna change some character icons to be their feral form and see if that tempts more furries/animal artists
