Hello everyone, my name is Roberto, but I don’t mind Robert or Rob. I earned my Bachelor’s in Economics alongside a minor in Mathematics and another in History. Right now I am in grad school in California working towards a PhD in Economics and I’m about to finish my first year. I love reading and enjoy writing, cooking, and finding tasty beer to drink. Also, I’m an identical twin and we are basically the same person.

Currently, I’m taking four classes: Advanced Microeconomic Theory, U.S. Economic Development in Historical Perspective, Linear Algebra with Applications to Science and Engineering, and Assembly Language/Micro-controllers.

Summer studying challenge // 25th July - Daytime or nighttime – what’s your favourite time during summer?

When I was younger I would have totally said nighttime, cause I spent my nights binge watching tv shows and it was the best. At the moment I would have to say the morning is my favourite time of the day. I like waking up early and just calmly do everything.

July 24 2021 || My dad passed away a bit ago. I haven’t had any motivation to do anything, including posting on here. But my second year of grad school starts in a month, so I need to start doing stuff. I decided to continue my research and start posting on here again since it helped me stay on track last semester.

Some pre-quiz review notes and an attempt at art. I had this idea of a modern art gallery in space, where the ceiling of the gallery is made of glass so you can see the planets beyond. Seeing as it’s been a while since I’ve actually drawn anything, I’m not mad with how this turned out.

28.05.2021 - I was super productive this morning and finished my to do list before midday... However, I've spent most of the afternoon floating around the house listening to Shardcast - oops. You win some you lose some.

I've spent the evening reading The Way of Kings to treat myself after the hellscape that was Persuasion. (Sorry to anyone who follows me and likes it, I'm exaggerating for dramatic effect!) We're in part three so good Kaladin stuff is imminent - and back to Jasnah (my problematic fave, although tbf Dalinar comes into that category too!) Starting to think I should have liveblogged my reread...?
