The coffee was just right too, and the buzz she needed, a kick up the bum because she really had to finish these reports. "How long you know Moody then?" Tonks asked, as she started checking the reports, though she would rather give Edgar her full attention, he was easy on the eyes, even if he was older than her. Tonks never much cared for men her own age, too immature…
Edgar pulled up a chair and sat down at the end of her desk. "I've known him for about fourteen years. Since I started working here really. I knew him before he lost the eye." It was funny now thinking of Moody without the fake eye. But then again it must have been funny for people to think about him without his light limp or the cane he used on bad days.
He took a sip of his coffee. "We worked together for a while on field work when I started and then when I got more experienced I got to go off and do my own thing."
