Patriot

I have the most beautiful betta at home. He is a butterfly half moon with blue, red, and white coloration. I love to watch him when I am home from school. I will half three weeks to watch him when I come home for Christmas break. I can't wait.

I finished reading Catching Fire yesterday. It was a good book - not as good as the first one, but still really good. It had the best ending, especially the last sentence. I cannot wait to see the movie.

Thanksgiving

It was so wonderful getting to see all my family on Thanksgiving. The food was great, and we got to talk and talk. I love Thanksgiving.

Ultra-Fit Challenge

Bike 1 mile, level 6; row 600 meters, level 10; 40 lat pull downs at 30 lbs; 30 shoulder presses at 30 lbs; 50 push-ups; 50 step-ups holding a 15 lb weight in each arm; 50 crunches; run 1/2 mi on an 8% incline -

Such were the trials of the Ultra-fit challenge that I took part in today. I made it to 25 push-up mark before I felt too sick to keep going. The guy before me had it worse. He made it through to the end - but barely. "Help," I heard him cry weekly as I was about to begin the challenge myself.

I am going to start training for next semester. This time, I want to make it all the way through!

I got to meet a friend of my best friend today. She was visiting from Syracuse University in New York. She was a sweet girl; I liked her.

Twice I have heard the rapid pattering of a mouse running across the ceiling tiles.

I love mice.

As the leaves fly across the sidewalk, I like to step on them. I chase them around like a child trying to see how many I can tramp on.

Moon in the Sunrise

It was such a beautiful sunrise this morning, hardly a cloud in the sky. But the moon was there, bold white and full, gracing the sky that had been divided into pink, blue, orange, and yellow hues.

Funday

I got to play frisbee and soccer with some friends outside in the Quad. It did not last long, but I enjoyed it.

Robin Red Bird

I saw a tree with no leaves, but red berries, abd so many robins lodged in the branches. Beautiful.
