"Sephiroth, listen--," He crouches down once he's teleported them away from the isle. Upon Sephiroth's request, they arrived at the front of someone's doorsteps. Klaus brushes through Sephiroth's hair and looks him in the eyes.

"Right now, it isn't safe at home. I think Aurelius isn't feeling too well, so...until he feels better, stay here, okay?"

Why, this feels so familiar. He frowns, eyebrows knit together. Hadn't his own father done this before? Sure, he came back, but...

"WE will be back for you. In the time being, be sure to take care of yourself and keep out of harm's way?"

Sephiroth felt lost and disoriented. The golden tree outside had started to take over their home and his door had been suddenly sealed shut. He had sat frozen in fear until Klaus came and teleported him away to Prometheus's home.

He clung to Klaus's arm. He couldn't hide the fear that still lingered in his eyes. That's what they all promised. They'd stick around; they'd be back. A terrified whimper escaped his throat.

"Papa..." He wanted to beg him to take him back, but the way the door had sealed shut scared him just as much. He nodded his head with tentative trust. "Okay."

He shifted Shadow to carry him with one arm and took his claw into his free hand. "Sorry for stressing you out." He still remembered what he said.
