Allowing Edgar to move her body into his, Delia rested her head upon his chest and sighed. It was a content sigh though her features softened as she hid her face from Edgar’s view. For a long time now, Edgar had been all Delia needed in order to be happy in life; he was her soul mate after all and she couldn’t see herself spending the rest of her life with anyone different. “You are my knight in shining armour, Mr Bones, you truly are.”
A smile returned to Delia face as she lifted her head off her partner’s chest and locked eyes with him. “What would I like to do with you?” she questioned, swaying in time with Edgar. “I think, first, I’ll have a little kiss. Is that allowed?” Her hand slipped free from Edgar’s light hold and snaked up around his shoulders, locking loosely around his neck.
Every day of his life now, all Edgar wants is to be enough to deserve the title of Delia's knight in shining armour. If he is responsible for taking her away from the security and familiarity of her family, then the least he can do is keep her safe from harm, make certain she is as happy as possible.
Edgar can't help but smile widely back as Delia lifts her gaze to his with a smile of her own. "Hm," he says in pretend thought. "I suppose it is allowed. After all, there's nothing else that demands my attention except the demand of your lips, Delia Greengrass."
The grip of his hold around her waist tightens as he draws her body closer to his and lightly brushes his lips against his fiancée's. These are lips he's so lucky to have the chance to kiss when he wakes every morning now. Lips he's listens to speak at length about numerous topics. Lips that he admired the first time he saw Delia in the halls of Hogwarts and wished to get to know her better. Edgar offers a moment of the featherlight touch of lips before solidly kissing Delia and enjoying how her taste never changes yet he can never get enough of it.
