Indeed there is, though I’m not sure how soon it will be. I just sent off my finished draft of the next Mr. Porkers book to my editor this morning, so I’ll have to wait to hear back from her before I know how much more work needs to be done to finish it up. And once it’s done, it’s up to the publisher when it comes out. I think they might want to tie it in with the short, but I’m not sure how the timing of all that might work out. 

Well that makes sense, but I am sure it’s going to be great and it will all work out well for you. Well good luck with it all, it all sounds exciting.

Yeah. My mom is the best. We went on a road trip. I had a wonderful time. Things are good. Just trying to adjust to life post graduation. It feels weird to not be getting ready for school. I have to decide my next steps. I miss you too!

When she had said that she had heard of him, the hairs on the back of his neck stood straight up. Hearing another familiar name, Finn’s anxiety calmed down a bit. “Ryder? Wow. Yeah. He’s your brother? Yeah I was like the step in glee club teacher for like half a year or something.” Eyes stayed on Freya as his lips slowly turned into a smile, the memories starting to rush back to him. “It really is a small world.” He took a bite of his food, shaking his head. After a moment, he spoke up again. “So, what brings you to New York?”

Freya laughed a little as she ran a hand through her hair for a moment and nodded, “Well I like to think I am not crazy so I don’t think I am holding out on you.” She smiled looking over at him and smiled as she ran a hand through her hair for a moment, she nodded, “Yeah Ryder is my brother. He is pretty amazing, annoying but amazing. I do miss him, well him and Marley.” She laughed and nodded, “Tell me about it, it’s pretty great though.” She laughed and as she started to tuck into her food she smiled, “Well Lima just wasn’t really doing it for me, my best friend lived in New York, I wanted to live here ever since I was young. And then I wanted to be an actress so I came out here. Then a lot of other things happened to me.” She smiled looking over at the guy, “Didn’t you recently get engaged? I think I saw on social media? If so Congratulations.”

Freya had been back from Chicago for a while now and ever since then she had been meaning to go see her boyfriend even after their text and it wasn’t that she was avoiding him, she was just super busy with everything. She was scared that this might lead to them ending things, she didn’t want to lose him, she had fallen in love with him and losing him would be hard and the bond she had with his son Adam so she was hoping they can fix what they argued about over text before. She was scared, she wanted to go over to Diego’s and they could fix the argument and get back to where they were, she knew he was upset that she didn’t take him with her to Chicago and she wants to do it on her own but it’s all new to her and she wanted to make sure there was something she could experience on her own. 

Freya got ready, she wore a white crop top and black shorts and tied her hair up for a moment, she was in need of a hair cut and she was going to get it done as soon as possible. She got in an uber and as she arrived at Diego’s, she stood there waiting for him to answer the door, she twiddled with her fingers.
