theres something a bit limiting about having a vore blog. like vore is my primary fixation and all so it is what i'd mostly talk about. but it feels limiting in a sense that it feels like theres a socially-associated acceptable range of things id ought to be posting. and while that might all be in my head it is one of the many reasons i ever just end up abandoning blogs to make new ones until i get annoyed or bored or frustrated or whatever with tumblr/general social media again

using my phone is just a pain in the ass, and it captures soo much outside noise while still being pretty muffled (im fat, so theres a lot of insulation in the way and all). i've had it work okay in the past, but it's really hard for me to get consistently good recordings. so i've been like, wanting to see what a 'proper setup' would look like for a while. but erm vore or any kind of related body noise kink is niche, and audioengineers typically dont have a need to record body noises all the time, so it seems like most approaches to doing this in a way that sounds super nice is pretty DIY.

I feel like if i had the money to burn on it, there would be a few things I would love to try because I'd imagine they might be super cool?

this one I find super neat, just using a stethoscope head and some tubing to encase a mic that can capture the sounds from the stethoscope. and doing it this way gives you a lot of flexibility on what mic you'd want to use (maybe even a binaural setup, with two stethoscope-converted mics? interesting idea)

there is also digital stethoscopes, but most of them are bluetooth and app connected, which wouldnt be ideal. though there are some from like aliexpress or the rare medical supply stores that are wired as well. I'd be really interested in knowing what they use to turn the sounds from the stethoscope into a digital signal, i guess. like if there's a microphone in the head or if its a piezo/contact thing. kind of hard to find a lot of details and not exactly economical to cut one open just to see.

i do think switchy pred types work very well in the scenario of being dominant towards prey but subservient to a handler of sorts. i mean that also makes it a great combo with petplay. there can also be some good power struggle and peril stuff between the pet-pred and handler, too. just a fun, classic sort of scenario, really.

The prey yelled something, but the stomach replied with an ominous burbling that drowned out the prey’s voice. The pred thought it was incredibly funny, they couldn’t help but laugh.

The pred was silent after that. Feeling demoralised. The mood was ruined.

i just thought of something

i love the concept of resting your head on a pred’s full stomach. it would be so nice lean your ear up against their belly, and you could hear the gurgling and churning resonating from deep inside them. and the pred could gently press your head close to their gut, enticing you to listen more.
