i’ve had this blog for nearly 2 years and it has become a huge mess and its just…it makes me uncomfortable too because reasons.
So today i will be working on moving Rayne to a new blog, its something i’ve been thinking about for a while but I’m finally gonna do it yesss
Unlike when i’ve moved other muses, this will be a complete reset of relationships (which really I only had one with Isy’s Lucy but yeah).
edit: i’m keeping the budding relationship with Isy’s Lyon because yes. Also relationships with edo muses (like Roxys and Ari’s and Isy’s) will not really change since they’re sorta pre-established

Scars and tattoo:
Her black Fairy Tail mark is tattooed (as opposed to simply stamped with magic) on her back between her shoulder blades, it had to be put somewhere it wouldn’t so easily be seen by those hunting Fairy Tail members back on Edolas.
She also has a few scars on her body, results from a few hasty escapes from Kingdom guards while on missions. She has one curving over her right hip, one partially circling her lower left leg, and several small ones on her lower back. She is completely unbothered by these scars and holds no shame for having them.
Alcohol:
She has a fairly decent tolerance to alcohol. The more she drinks, the friendlier and happier she becomes (the happy drunk as opposed to Juvia Lockser being the crying/sad drunk). If she is around someone she’s close to when she’s drunk, Rayne will definitely be very affectionate towards them and probably crush them in tight hugs while telling them how she feels about them and complimenting them a lot. Her preferred drinks are wine and fruity cocktails.
Third Person Talk:
The little time that we did see Edo Juvia in canon, she did speak in third person, however mine does not (it makes more sense to me that she wouldn’t, since she is supposed to be almost completely opposite to Earthland Juvia).
Like her counterpart, Juvia Lockser, Rayne does however sometimes slip into the other way of speaking in certain circumstances. Lockser goes into first person when serious or taken by complete shock/surprise (I can only think of when she saw Gray ‘die’ rn and she called out to him without using an honorific but I’m sure there’s been other times).
Rayne slips into third person when she is extremely flustered or when she’s teasing.

Blog updates
Since I’m going around tidying up all my blogs anyway I decided to add a couple of things to my rules (so far i’ve only updated the rules on this blog but yeah, eventually it’ll be the same on all 232244 of them).
I’m the kind of person that feels bad saying no to people and I never want to be mean, so making rules and posts like this makes me uncomfortable but yeah >.< i dont want to seem rude or like im vague posting about anyone ‘cause I’m not, these are just things im seeing a lot lately and yep.
Anyway. The new things in the rules are both about reasons I won’t follow a blog.
The first one is:
If you have labelled your muse as AU or Canon Divergent but haven’t made it clear anywhere on your blog how the muse is AU/Canon Divergent, I won’t follow your blog. I can understand that maybe sometimes someone just hasn’t set up their pages yet and that they will do it later, so in that case, I will follow once the info is up and if I think its interesting. (as a side note here, its a huge pet peeve of mine when people don’t have pages set up but are promoing their blog >.< i get being excited about a new blog and all but its frustrating to me ‘cause i always look at peoples pages before i follow or when i see a new blog and when theres nothing to read i just grrrrr)
The second addition is:
If you have one of those ‘I won’t follow these people’ lists in your rules, I won’t follow you. I know it kinda sounds bad of me to say i won’t follow people that have those lists ‘cause it kinda makes me one of them in a way but anyway….Yeah, if you have something in your rules that talks about how you wont follow or rp with *insert url here*, then that just makes me uncomfortable ‘cause it looks like drama and i don’t want drama. That being said I really do understand not wanting to follow certain people or follow people that interact with a certain person etc *whispers loudly that xkits servant is a great way to stop blogs you dont want appearing on your dash and i think there are some other options if you look and you don’t have to tell everyone the people you dont want to follow, i dont see how telling people changes anything anyway but maybe thats just me*
So anyway yep, that’s it.
Oh and a random update you mighta seen me mention on another blog is that I’m not going to bother with formatting anymore, aside from making the text small and bolding the dialogue (it makes it easier for me to read).

Lucy:
She couldn’t help but laugh at the words and she felt a warmth of happiness spread throughout her body, the fact she was willing to go with her was more than enough to convince the blonde that they could get over their earlier awkward encounter. Looking around the street she knew of a few bars around that were nice enough without being overly expensive but she still had to hope that Rayne wasn’t a heavy drinker like Cana.
“– Of course, just don’t drink me broke… Is there a place you like to go or do you want me to choose?”
While waiting for her reply she chose to take the opportunity to really look at the woman, so many physical aspects just made her mind instantly scream ‘Juvia’ however the two couldn’t have been more different and she had to say that she quite liked Rayne’s personality. There was something about the woman that just reminded her of something, what it was she couldn’t tell, but it kind of reminded her of home in a good way.
She wasn’t actually much of a drinker and she didn’t know if any of the nearby bars or places were any good or not. Deciding it was best to let Lucy choose a place to go, she was about to say as much but then felt the words dry up in her throat when she noticed that she was being studied.
Perhaps out of a sense of defensiveness and hidden worry that she was being negatively compared to her counterpart, she found herself pulling up her mental and emotional walls, the change being reflected physically in the straightening of her posture and the way she tugged her hand free from Lucy’s. She didn’t like being compared, or even looked over in such a way, it just made her notice all the places in which she was lacking and it reminded her of her past. And it hurt, though she would never admit to that.
Coming from a once wealthy family and a childhood of being taught how to act as if nothing affected her, she now easily fell back into the practice, raising an eyebrow and gazing at Lucy with a hint of a challenge, waiting for some sort of comparison remark about her and her counterpart but presenting the air that whatever Lucy might say would have no impact on her.
