INTRODUCTION. / part one.
alright so until i can articulate a real good about doc for the boy, i will give you a sort of cheat sheet of important events for him. also kudos to rune / @aeternitie for help with his names.
BORN Y.T 1080. the eldest child of olwë. named turlië
Y.T 1101. olwë is asked to come to valinor as an ambassador, turlië is captured by morgoth and imprisoned at the age of 189.
Y.T 1101 - F.A 118 turlië’s imprisonment. lasts a total of 3,518 years. ( this is with the proper conversions for year of the trees. ) the goal was to turn him into an orc, though he refused to break under the strain of torture, and was made a slave instead. spiritually, physically, he didn’t break. but mentally he was fragmented, remembering only that he was olwë’s son and nothing else.
F.A 118 arrives in gondolin. is found by glorfindel and the house of the golden flower on their watch of the gates and is taken in to be cared for. chooses the name enortio, meaning risen again. becomes a member of the house of the hammer of wrath.
F.A 510 the fall of gondolin. enortio survives, the sole survivor of his house. would eventually find refuge with those who escaped the fall in sirion.
this is where i lose solid dates and it’s moreso just little tid-bits but he eventually along the way meets celeborn and galadriel, and ultimately sticks with them from then on out. ( he’s celeborn’s cousin, and galadriel’s uncle thanks john )
he becomes the guest parent to celebrian.
fights alongside celeborn in the fall of eregion and survives. he’s lived in various places, and at several points in his life is found residing in imladris ( as celeborn, galadriel, and celebrian have resided there as well. )
most of your wars, he was fighting in.
somewhere along the way, he adopts the name ennadion.
sails in the fourth age with celeborn and the twins elladan and elrohir.
important notes: he’s pretty cold and closed off, especially to those he doesn’t know. but to those he cares about, there’s essentially nothing he wouldn’t do for them.
he doesn’t remember his life before the imprisonment. that being said, he didn’t remember his own sister, earwen, until galadriel mentioned her name. he chose the name enortio in gondolin because he couldn’t remember his name.
though unchanged in the physical sense, morgoth’s corruption did manage to stain him slightly. when provoked, his anger can come out animalistic and overpowering, to the point that he’s incapable of thought, logic or reason. he sees red, and the only goal is spilling blood. ( good note though, he’s tiny. so if you can hold him down until it passes, then we good. )
