What shoes do you like to wear when you're out and about taking photos?

I usually just wear regular running sneakers for comfort, but i have this pair of converse that i love so i wear that out pretty frequently. if you’re curious which converse they are, it’s the converse run star motion :)

Mirage

Surrounded by the blinding sun and scorching sands, I pretend to not care about the massive pool of blue over the horizon. I pretend to the scorpions and sand dunes that I’m merely strolling, unamused by this idea of relief, for I know it’s imaginary. No matter how fast my feet could run, no matter how far my arm could reach, no matter how close it seems, I won't be able to touch it. Yet at night, when the desert is asleep, I lie on my bed of sand, feel its coarseness embed itself into my skin and the cold piercing my bones and think of that blue horizon. I dream of the day my hand stretches out and reaches it. I yearn for the day my feet are fast enough to catch it. I imagine myself, under that same scorching sun, gulping down mouthfuls of cool water. I imagine the relief I would feel and for a second, just one brief second, I can almost feel it. I can almost feel my thirst being quenched, my skin being smooth. So, the next day, I wake up. I put on my mask of indifference and walk towards the blue again, knowing I’ll do the same thing tomorrow, the day after and the day after that.
