Not that he'd be surprised if that were the case, everything else in his life was terrible so why should his love life be any different?

Idia gets even more depressed, and slightly afraid, when he finds out Leo is flammable on command. The third year would give anything to make his fire hair optional...

His only saving grace is that fact that you're stuck here until Crowley finds a way to get you home. That should give him enough time to level up and win you over! Every time Ortho invites you to Ignihyde ( because Idia is too nervous to do it himself ) Idia offers you his gamer chair while he sits on the floor, like a gentlemen

Every hang out, Idia does his best to make sure it's a 10 / 10 experience. You're hungry? Feel free to order whatever you want, he has the money to spare. Are you bored? Idia has loads of games available and there's no monsters around to try and kill you if you touch a phone so feel free to spend as much time inside. With him. Maybe watch some movies. Together. ( Ortho, is he laying it on thick. Ortho- )

But Idia knows he can only distract you for so long, you still miss your world. The first time you met the tweels, they immediately reminded you of the Stoll brothers. Even going to dorms brought back memories of home, Pomefiore's dedication to beauty so like the Aphrodite cabin. So reminiscent of your old world, just without the connections and history. If there's one thing Idia can't replace, it's your bond with Leo

LEO VALDEZ genuinely thinks Aphrodite has something out for him or maybe it's her messed up son that's screwing with his love life, that's the only explanation for yet another doomed crush. He couldn't convince Echo to go with him, Calypso went back to being a friend, and now his latest crush is in a whole other world with a Hades fan boy

Speaking of Idia, that jerk needs to learn how to read a room and leave it. Every iris message between the two of you is interrupted with Idia shoehorning himself in to ask about Hades, see if he's as cool as the legends make him out to be. First off, he's not. Secondly, he could easily ask you anytime outside of your guys call times but he chooses now specifically? This is targeted and Leo is NOT going to stand for it. Two can play at that game

Idia needs your help to carry snacks from Sam's? He has his freaky robot brother for that, check out this new weapon Leo made instead. There's a new game you two want to check out? Sounds fun! Too bad you're going to have to reschedule because Leo is in the infirmary wing and he needs you beside him to recover. Just your presence alone is enough to further the healing process. And he does mean just YOUR presence alone, tell Idia to leave the call. The ugly fire place he calls hair is giving Leo a headache

What's that? You can't Iris message Leo because Idia conveniently ran out of drachmas? Lucky for you, he just read through several books on how to make your own and now he's teaching you. (Where the hell did that nerd get Drachmas anyway...)

As fun as it is to sabotage your two's budding relationship, Leo doesn't know how much longer he can take being literal worlds apart. Camp just isn't the same without you. Frank and Hazel live at Camp Jupiter, Piper's busy with counselor duties, Grover too, and Leo is NOT third wheeling Percabeth or Nicoangleo. Sometimes after your calls end, he stays awake wondering if you like it better at NRC then you do here

No gods to boss you around, your life's not constantly in danger, and you get to discover a new world full of magic and different species of creatures that don't want you dead. And Idia's fire can't hurt you like Leo's can. If he really cared about you then he should let you stay there instead of holding on

My little brother insisted if I was going to post about him, he wanted a cut of the "profits". When I explained to him that Tumblr isn't monetized, and is pretty pointless, he and my older brother pointed out that he'd still be bringing me "fame and notoriety" if the post got "big". So we agreed, if the post hit 10k notes, which seemed extremely farfetched and silly at the time, I'd take my little brother out for sushi (his favorite food) and let him eat as much as he wants.

Something to consider:

Does twst world have uncanny valley?

Part of me wants to say no cause the existence of beast man, merfolk, fae, etc. Plus the most we get about characters being creeped out by others in game is more just general vibes and not because there uncanny to them. Then again, it’s possible that they’re just enough ‘human’ that it doesn’t trigger. What about overblots? Are those uncanny? Cause you’re watching around someone you know get pulled around like a puppet on a string?

does Yuu trigger a bit of uncanny valley at first? Cause they’re human, but not from this world. They move in ways that just feel slightly off, their voice doesn’t sound right at first, something looks wrong with them if you stare for just long enough. Eventually its stops triggering in the main cast cause they know Yuu is harmless. However during the beginning were they creeped out by Yuu? By someone from another world looking human but just doesn’t feel like one?
