Hello!! How are you doing? I'm doing fine! I wanted to ask you about your favorite character that is Kalim,right? I wanted you tell me why you love him so much? Not judging of course!!!! Kalim is a wonderful character and I love him so much (our sunshine ☀), it's just because i can't choose who is my favorite character because i love all of them (even though i have Idia's photo profile). Hi, I'm doing fine!! Don't worry, you weren't rude or anything ♡⸜(ˆᗜˆ˵ )⸝♡ I'm happy to talk about Kalim whenever I get the chance
At first (when I started Book 4) Kalim caught my attention from the moment he welcomed Yuu 🥹 I absolutely love cheerful characters
However, what made him my favorite is that I empathized with him so much—not that I don't empathize with the others, of course—but with Kalim (personally) it was different
The fact that he's so sweet despite everything he's been through, that his entire personality is shaped by all those traumatic situations from his past, and yet he refuses to talk about it because he believes he doesn't have the right to— and really, he has no one to tell all those things to, and no one who genuinely cares about his mental well-being
I'd say that I was really captivated by the depth of his character (I won't get into whether he was developed correctly or not)
But what I mean is that at first you might think (and some still think ) that Kalim is simply that ray of sunshine, rich kid, innocent and the only houdewarden who hasn't overblotted because he's the only one without trauma 😁 (FALSE); when in reality, his life has been one of the most traumatic within the Twst cast and almost everyone refuses to acknowledge it
Changing the subject, I also really like his design (*ˊᗜˋ*) I think he's very pretty!! And what I like most are his red eyes 🥹
Overall, I think Kalim is quite adorable, and although many refuse to accept it (for some reason??), he's a very good housewarden... Just look at how the students refer to him in Book 4 🥺 — Yes, Kalim makes many mistakes and may not be good with paperwork; however, he does his best to be a reliable leader for Scarabia, a leader who always helps others as much as he can
There are many more things I like about Kalim, but I've already gone on for too long (this is a summary of my thoughts (＃ﾟдﾟﾒ))
Anyway, dw if you haven't found a favorite character yet, little by little you'll start to grow fond of one of them, and there can be many reasons why that interest begins: that you like their appearance, that you like their personality, that you admire them, that you identify with them, etc...
