Working in a restaurant 1.Have you ever wondered how a restaurant works? Well you are in good luck! I have worked in the restaurant industry for four years. The main jobs that the average person sees while walking in to a restaurant would be the Hosts, Servers, Bartenders, Bus boys and Back waiters. All of these positions have an important role in how a restaurant works. Going on to the first position people see are the hosts. I will be talking about working in a restaurant and the positions that the average person sees first which would be the host, Server, bus boy , bartender and a back waiter. 2. The order in which I put the positions in make sense to me since I have experienced it at my job. Have you ever wondered how a restaurant works? Well you are in good luck! These Paragraphs would contain all my knowledge about the position and then some from the information which I found out at work. 4. I would still like to write this paper since I would always like to learn more about my place of employeement. If I felt that I couldā nt write this paper I probably would pick another topic but for now this one interests me. 5. I will be staying with this topic because it allows me to ask questions at my work which I wouldnāt really do on my own. This paper will allow me to gain more insight into my job and also the jobs of my fellow co-workers which sounds great now that I have to write about it. Through the process of changing the different topic placement I can inform my audience of how a position would start the customers dinning experience at my work. I also have a few other snippets I can add in if my paper is too short. This will take some time and effort but I think that this is a great opportunity to learn in class and out. I can also talk to my audience about what goes on behind the doors of the restaurant which I work at. There are so many other positions in a restaurant. These other positions are hard in their own way just like everyone has something hard or easy at work. A lot of the places give credit to the chiefs or managers but never any appreciation to the cooks who are working in a burning hot kitchen for hours on end. From the class discussions I might take different approaches to my paper informing people in a different manner. I can also tell my audience about what might be different for other restaurants compared to my work. Also the people who are preparing the food to be cook in the back known as āback Prepā.
