So I'm finally learning to draw the way i always wanted to. This is a portrait of my cat from his younger days and my final project for my intro to drawing course.

I realize I've posted little in the way of WIPs in quite a while…so have some nearly complete Applejack and Filly pattern attempt! I have a couple changes in mind for the filly. Applejack as well as a Rarity should be done tomorrow night! I've made a few pattern changes to my basic mare pattern, and the idea is that you can't tell, so I hope that holds true! (Made it much easier to sew and requires less firm stuffing, so the ponies are more cuddly!)

HANKLERFISH PLUSHIES ARE HERE!

These are soft custom plushies that resemble the famous Hanklerfish art as drawn by Hank Green. They are adorable and squishie and I love them. I want a whole school of them.

A shout-out to Hank for coming up with this beast and writing it a wonderful song, and to Kristen, our project manager, for working with the manufacturer to get these lookin’ just right.

They are available now from DFTBA as a pre-order, shipping mid-February. And they won’t be the last plushies coming this year. =)

So I had this hope/dream/poorly constructed plan that I was going to design a plush hanklerfish and then post it and then dftba records was going to appear out of nowhere to buy my design from me but clearly somebody has beat me to the design. These are adorable though and so I'm glad they got to.

Maybe I should design a french llama plush instead. One more patterning project for my list. :P
