Completed star shawl, made with Sultan Deluxe yarn from Hobbii. I really love how the beaded tassels really make the rest of the textured design of this shawl *pop*.

It’s all done!!
The backstitching is very subtle, but it definitely brings more dimension to the piece.
I’ve washed it, ironed it, and sent it off to the framers. I went with a simple golden frame so as to not take away from the crazy colours too much but also keep it light and bright.
The plan is to gift it to my mum who introduced me to the hobby as a Christmas gift. I just hope it will fit in my suitcase.
I will post a photo of it once it’s back from framing, but in the meantime, I’m moving on with the next project.

X Sorrow ! she/it
A stoic, silent thing that stalks the boundary between the Plague region and the various Collective territories. It has been rumored to be heard among the hissing and crackling of the landscape’s decay, but no one can corroborate what she actually sounds like…
huge thank you to my secret santa for the reflection scroll that finally completed this project!! It looks so good
There's a little extra room in the cups, but overall, I think I nailed it.
The trick to sizing up the bottoms is to add all the extra inches you need on the back. Just make the front according to pattern and subtract that from your hip measurement. Then, add however many extra inches you need to fit the back, and figure out a good increase layout and off you go!
You'll need size #3 thread (I used WeCrochet Curio) and a 3.25mm hook. Pattern is here (or you can message me).
Also, enjoy this very low effort very pin up shot:
It's done! It's been gifted! It made my friend cry!
He’s a phantom 👻 💚
