This new musical from Be More Chill’s Joe Iconis tells the life story of famed American journalist Hunter S. Thompson (played by Eric William Morris).

I am currently working on captioning my audio bootleg of the entire musical, however I’m only like 15 minutes in bc procrastination, so here’s the opening number in the meantime :) there are almost definitely some typos and/or mistakes in here, and there’s like 1 word where i actually have no idea what they’re saying so if u know TELL ME PLEASE

also yes this is the opening number but there’s like 5 minutes of dialogue beforehand, but I only included the lines right before the song starts.

The colors represent which character is speaking (and yes this style is sorta ripped off from that audio bootleg of The Black Suits), yellow is Hunter, red is Nixon, green is The Kid/Young Hunter, and magenta is Virginia (Hunter’s mother)
