August 1!! So ready for this.

Hi! I have my seasonal nail polish picks for Fall 2023. I have a YouTube video up on this but I've also got pictures of the polishes as well to share with you here!

I plan on wearing these polishes starting today! These are all polishes I plan on wearing during the season this year. I may be a little early on the fall jump start but I'm okay with it.

Hello! Back today with a more neutral look. I saw this design awhile ago on Instagram and I've been waiting for the right time to do it. Well I broke my right hand thumb nail and wanted to build it up with builder gel. What better time to do a gel manicure than when it's going over a fake nail?

So here is 2 coats of OPI GelColor "Bubble Bath" with holo powder from Born Pretty Store. All purchased by me.

Really enjoyed doing these nails. Gel polish is just so much nicer to work with than regular lacquer. And the design is so nice and just elegant.

I'm so excited for August 1! I've got some great things coming (cough cough YouTube videos). And I will start picking from my seasonal rack for fall colors!

Hello! Today I have just one last sort of neon mani. I know, I know. I said in the last post that it was the last neon. But I have really been wanting to wear this shade the past couple of days before I start on fall shades. And to be fair, I'm not sure this is a true neon. So. Here is Cupcake Polish "Berry Good Looking".

I bought this polish I believe 2 or 3 years ago now when I finally caved and bought this staple holo polish directly from cupcake polish.

This color is a must have for anyone who loves purple or holographic. It is so bright and stunning. The holo just pops so well against the darker purple base but the purple base is still bright enough on its own. Very pretty color and I highly recommend.

Alright. I will probably do a couple transition shades between now and August 1 when I plan on starting my fall manis. So I look forward to sharing those with y'all and I'll talk later. Bye!

I know it's only the end of July. But like fall colors are soooo pretty. I'm very excited to be wearing fall colors.

But first I must say goodbye to summer neons with one last neon mani. This is I Scream Nails "Hubba Hubba".

I bought this shade in 2021 online during their Black Friday sale. I picked up this shade and I think 11 others.

Formula is okay but it's a bit sheer. 3 coats for full opacity but that's also because I'm picky about seeing my nail line with creams. I'm not super upset with it though because neons can be tricky. This is with a glossy top coat because it does dry matte.

As you can see in the picture, the handle is shaped like an ice cream cone. This can make application even trickier. It's harder to get a good grip because it's smooth and it narrows down to a point. I would say it's not beginner friendly but it's easy enough to get used to.

Overall, good neon polish and I will definitely wear again (just next year when summer returns lol).

I'm so excited to start seeing everyone's Polish and Beauty Expo hauls! I was not able to go this year but I love seeing what everyone else got!

I did this nail art a week ago and decided it's probably time to show it off. I was inspired by the summer season for these and I had been doing a series of fruit themed nail art that I was deciding to continue.

These are cherry nails using China Glaze "Dance Baby" as a base for the pink nails and lines, China Glaze "Hey Sailor" for the red cherries and squares, OPI "Alpine Snow" as a base for the white nail, and lastly I used OPI "Rated Pea-g" for the green cherry stems.

Hello! Sorry I've been gone a little bit. I had some sores on my fingers that needed to heal.

But I am back and 100% here for the blue shimmer trend. I've never been a blue shimmer kind of person. I've always gravitated towards gold shimmer and anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE a gold shimmer. Then I started seeing some pictures of indie nail brands recently for Polish Pick Up (PPU). They had this strong shimmer and there was a particular one that I cannot remember but it was SO pretty I just had to have a blue shimmer polish.

So I hope y'all enjoy these pics as much as I enjoyed wearing the color. This is 3 coats of China Glaze "Reggae to Riches".

Hello! It's 4th of July here in America and I did 3 different manis for the holiday.

Please note that I do not typically celebrate 4th of July because I believe that there is no pride in what this country has always been and what it is becoming. I think that America needs a lot of change to become a country worth having pride over.

I do, however, like having any excuse to do my nails. So here we are. Below are 2 manis that require little effort and 1 nail art mani that took quite the effort.

Pictured is the flash reactive polishes from Salon Perfect (still available at WalMart) Red: "News Flash!" Silver: "Flashing Lights" Blue: "Make It Flashy!"

Pictured is 3 polishes all from Nine Zero Lacquer (an indie brand that no longer exists) Red: "Refraction" White: "USA" Blue: "Wavelength"

I first painted a white base, top coated and let dry for 30 minutes. Then I added nail vinyls for the red stripes. Then I hand painted the blue drips and added white little sprinkles on the blue. And lastly, I added a quick dry top coat. All OPI polishes that are still available. White: OPI "Alpine Snow" Red: OPI "Cajun Shrimp" Blue: OPI "Tile Art to Warm Your Heart"

Hello! My name is Emilee and I very recently decided to start a nail polish blog! I'm here on Tumblr for now until this whole blog thing kicks off.

I've decided to start things off with a little get to know me-nail edition. I am 24 years old and I have been into nail polish and nail art since I was 15 years old. I've been over on Instagram @eelime1998 since the beginning of my nail journey.

I currently have 600+ polishes in my collection. The biggest number of one brand is China Glaze with probably half of my collection consisting of it. I have mostly mainstream/drugstore polishes but I'm hoping to start branching out into the world of indie nail polish.

My nails are in a coffin or ballerina nail shape currently. They've been changing a lot recently from round, coffin, square, and now back to coffin again. That's not usually like me. I typically avoid change, especially in as something as big and important as my nails.

I'm here to blog about nail art, swatches, and more all pertaining to nails. I hope y'all enjoy and I'll catch y'all on the flip side!
