Omega Marc sold off to King Valentino to secure a treaty between his country and Vale’s. It’s quite traditional to include marriage as a collateral to ensure the continued fulfillment of conditions outlined in major agreements.
Marc lucked out, though. He was adored from the start. He’d live a well pampered life with his own assistants and guards. Everything he wants, easily given. Every whim, catered to. Truly loved and worshipped.
Then he just… disappears? Did Vale get tired of him? Is he ill? Pregnant?
Sweet Marc was taken! In the middle of the night, some opportunistic brutes came and took him from his nest! His guards were beat and knocked out, his attendants were tied up. The poor thing must be terrified. Who knows what awful things those savages could have done to him by know.
Valentino is shaking with fury. Someone dared steal from him? Even worse, his most prized possession? His sweet Marc was stolen from him! He did not sign a sub-par agreement with Lorenzo’s cohort just to lose what he wanted in the first place.
Valentino has started wars for less. Kidnapping a member of his household is one thing, but kidnapping the king’s consort is a provocation. It would be unthinkable to remain unresponsive to such a slight.
At the same time, that sweet and delicate omega, Marc, is happily ripping his restrictive dresses off and laughing with said brutes. He’s messy and bloody, but he hasn’t been this free since he was taken from his brother’s house.
The pair who took him, the brutes, are people that he knows quite well. Fermin, a young man who works for his brother for more… unsavory things. And Pedro, his lord cousin’s glorified attack dog. Shark. Something.
Marc likes them. A bit weird, but good boys. They knew better than to treat him like he’s fragile. He’s not weak, he can tale care of himself. Easier to just let him fight than hold him back in guise of “protecting” him.
Either way, they all had to be careful. He assumes that they staged the kidnapping on orders of his brother. Fermin said Alex had a letter for him and he can read it once they cross the border. Just a few hours more.
