I’ve spent almost the whole week trying to decide if I wanted to share this or not… It’s National Eating Disorder Awareness week.. I struggle with an eating disorder. It’s psychological. It’s a mental illness. It’s not an obvious physical ailment.

It’s honestly so hard for me to share this comparison. The photo on the left is from my 21st birthday. I began working out and eating healthier for myself. The photo on the right is from Christmas… I was complimented the most when I was at my thinnest.. and that’s what triggered my ED. I began to work out more so I could work off whatever I ate so I could keep a slim physique…

I honestly don’t know what else to say, because I haven’t beaten this, I’m still struggling.

I just want myself and others who also fight this battle to be healthy. Don’t worry about your weight or your physical appearance. I haven’t looked at a scale in a long time for good reasons…

& know that physical appearance doesn’t prove whether a person is healthy or not. & never comment on someone’s weight/body/diet… you never know what they’re struggling with.
