Hello to the furry community! This is gonna be kind of an out of the blue thing from me because 1.I don’t interact with this community and 2.I don’t come on Tumblr much in the slightest bit, but I do want to say something. This is probably gonna get buried under posts or something, but that’s ok. For the past week or so I’ve been getting more interested in art from this community. Honestly I love it and I was really exposed to it on Instagram. Some people I follow (that being of people who draw anthropomorphic animals and the such) like posts that have to do with fursuits and then which pop up on the explore page for me. Now I didn’t really know anything about fursuits and never really did care all too much for it until I started seeing some progress posts about fursuits people were making. That spiked my interest in fursuits quite a bit and I never really noticed how detailed they can get until I started digging deeper and looking at more designs. These suits are wonderful! It makes people’s characters come to life and they can pretty much live them. That never got through my head until I actually went through and dug around myself. Most of the time people put me off by speaking badly about this community and how it has its dark side. Took me a little while to realize that every community has that and those parts are actually quite easy to avoid. I just accepted it and steered clear of what I didn’t want to see. So after my digging around I cant help but to see and love the dedication and creativity this community has! Its fantastic! And its also kind of sad to see some people put down for starting out on making/drawing characters, or even making fursuits themselves due to most creations not being favorable quality in the eyes of some people. Understand everyone has their start and with constant practice their creations will become better over time. Please, even though I’m just an outsider looking in, I encourage people to set out and try to make art and fursuits on their own if they’re interested in doing such! Honestly I would love to see more people start up because its literally bringing people’s characters to life and its a new breath of creativity from new people. I hope I didn’t upset anyone by not being in the community and speaking about this. I am just very interested in the creative side of things and I want people who are interested in making anything art related to go for it. I am also sorry if this seems a bit scrambled for it is hard for me to convey my thoughts well. Have a good day. :D
