How Do I Determine My Rates:
I figured since I have been asked this more than once, and with the last question I just answered, that I would go into a little extra detail of how I determine my rates and why they are not the same for every guy.
So hereās how it works for meā¦
My day rate actually varies. I tend to run things a little differently than other girls who have a ātake it or leave itā mentality.
I am more open to new ideas and different situations, and I will accommodate different men with different services and finances. Meaning, that once Iāve gotten enough information about them, I sit down and do my homework to figure out an arrangement that will make us both happy. Sometimes its impossible, and other times its just a matter of tweaking the fine print.
For example; lets assume I charge $1,500 for a day, and they donāt want to pay $3, 000 for 2 visits a month, but they are interested in $2,500 for 2 visits a month. I would hesitate to say no for a difference of $500? Especially, if everything checked out and I enjoyed my time with them. Thatād almost be silly of me to say no, as Iād really be out a possible $2,500⦠not just the $500.
Or for another example letās say they offer me $1,500 to see me once a month, and Iām so stuck on the fact that some one else pays $2,000 to see me once a month, that I say no to a good opportunity because Iām blinded by numbers and donāt see the possibilities.
The āworkā involved will be different for the different situations that I encounter. And as no two arrangements/Clients are the sameā¦I create options for us both to be happy. Keep in mind that I do have a bottom line, that I will not go under, but everything above it is a bonus!
There are many things to consider when I set my rate for someone. Such as:
* What is the amount of time that I will be spending with them?
* What are the activities planned, whether its for business functions or personal fun, and do they require certain āupkeepā factors, such as hair appointments, dress code etc?
* Is there is travelling involved? (such as with S) And do I enjoy the place Iām travelling to as if its a mini holiday from my everyday life?
* Are they āneedyā with communication?
* What are their personal finances and career like? Can they afford more than my bottom line?
* Do I enjoy my time with them or does it feel long and like work?
* How long have I been seeing them?
* What is our sexual chemistry like, is it intense/electric or just blah? (Would I consider him good enough to be paid to do what Iām doing? Lol)
* Do I have free time during our dates together?
* Is he teaching me something that I would have to otherwise pay someone else to do⦠such as investing/business tips?
* How often does he travel to my city and how often he will want to see me?
* Plus there are other things to think of as well, like did he pass my screening and is squeaky clean, is he new to this lifestyle, will he be a repeat Client or is this a one-off? etc etcā¦
The point is, for me, it is not a cut and dry number. I take the whole arrangement into account, the person and the finances.
This is possibly why I have the great Clients that I do. Knock on wood!! In a way, they cater to me, and I cater to them. I like to look at the glass as half full, not half empty.
Itās all in how you negotiate for what you want and how they respond for what they need. By saying no to quickly, without hearing the possibilities, I could be missing out on a great thing.
For instance, R has a weekend rate that is the lowest of them all. And had I not given him a chance and gotten to know him, I would have missed some amazing opportunitiesā¦not to mention the extra $14,000 that he has gifted to me to put towards renovating my home, AND a credit card to use with no restrictions, for nothing in returnā¦.My SD hasnāt even done that.
I do try to make something work before assuming it wonāt work. I take my time to process things before throwing out a number randomly. Itās a business to me, and I treat it as one.
(I follow this same format when determining what Iād accept as an allowance from my/an SD as well).
