Thinking about the fact that Kenji didn’t want to break up with Brooklynn and probably still loves her, but finally decided to put himself first and broke up with her at the place that reminded him of the first time they truly connected. Her missing that event was the straw that broke the camels back.

Started doodling this the moment I saw the full trailer. I can't wait to learn how and why Kenji became obsessed with rock climbing specifically.

Choosing a favorite among these kids is hard and changes based on an episode, my mood, the way the stars align...

But it usually comes down to be between Darius and Brooklynn, so I chose Brook!

Prompt #1 of the Chaos Theory Countdown- Favorite Character

My current comfort character. Watching the first couple episodes, I was pretty sure he was my favorite amongst the group. Then the kayak river scene happened and I was absolutely certain. I love a good comic relief character, especially one that can throw out really deep advice when you are least expecting it.

I don't know how they did it, but the writers somehow made the "my daddy's a billionaire" kid the most relatable one (at least to me). I love that his character development didn't take a single episode or even a single season. I love that when he tried to do things out of his usual; he wasn't very good at it.

I am so excited for all the possible directions his character can take in Chaos Theory! I cannot wait!

fellow campers, i'm glad to announce that the jwct countdown is happening this month!!!

the countdown will take place from may 10th to may 24th, with two-day-long prompts about the show. you can submit fanart, gifsets, fics, moodboards, metas, pretty much anything!

do you ever think about how darius's grief over losing brooklynn might have multiple layers to it. do you ever think that, maybe, feeling responsible for brooklynn's death, he couldn't help but be reminded of what kenji said to him about playing with his friend's lives. do you ever think that darius couldn't stand to face kenji at the funeral, then, that he couldn't bare to look kenji in the eye and feel like he proved him right. do you ever think that's part of the reason why darius moved out of the family home, why darius stopped talking to his mom and brand and kenji. and do you ever think that when ben and darius reunite with him all those years later, when darius finally prepares himself to apologize to kenji for what he did, that kenji pulls darius into a hug instead, and tells him that he was never angry, but that he was only ever hurt and confused. because when darius grew distant, when he completely disappeared, kenji wasn't just losing his girlfriend or one of his best friends—he was suddenly losing his brother too
