When most people talk about Corvids, they are referring to the accomplishments of crows, ravens, and sometimes magpies even if it’s technically inaccurate. I don’t normally bother bringing it up since most people don’t find those sorts of details very interesting and because many behaviors between crows and ravens are similar it can be more convenient to refer to them as “corvids” instead of “crows and ravens”.
