There's a park in Helsinki called Plague Park and a harbour called Cholera Basin.

phm is one of my fave books and ive been sooo excited to see the movie bc its been so hugely hyped and i....hated it.... im so sorry...... visually incredible, great acting, amazing effects, but for me it missed so much on the characters, tone and mood. why was grace such a wet bag of kittens for the entire movie. book grace was HYPED to see an alien spaceship, he was EXCITED about the mission when he got into gear. why was stratt so soft and watered down, where was the scene of her yelling at grace for being a coward. why was grace so annoyed by rocky, he loved having his little buddy around his ship, they survived a 4 year space flight without killing each other. and WHAT WAS UP WITH THE FUCKASS SOUNDTRACK!!! idk i feel that as a standalone i woulda loved the movie but as an adaptation of one of my fave books im just reeeally disappointed

Yes. We. Did. But everyone looks at it through the lens of their personal experiences, character interpretation, expectations and worldview, so obviously some are gonna like it and some aren't. There are people who will find the message uplifting and there are people who will see it as contradictory to the previous seasons. We are bound to disagree with each other and have our own opinions and discussions.

But that's the point, isn't it? It's always been the point. Each one of us found solace in the story for very different reasons, but the best part of it was the community - interpretations, arts, analyses, fanfictions which focused on different aspects of the story. It allowed us to get to know each other better, see a different point of view and grow as a person. Let's not lose that

#not to sound old af but regarding azi and crowley i thought this ending was PERFECT for them #i like that there was no kiss #no great feelings reveal #as a 30yo aroace it just feels so good to see like. companionship so god tier ur together in every lifetime #i did not love all of the finale but regarding Them it was good #neil gaiman already ruined the effect for me by being a POS #but for aziracrow whom ive been obsessed with since like the early 2010s i thought this was thE PERFECT ENDING!!!
