âSo like hypothetically,â Egan said in a way that definitely said whatever hypothetical he was about to say, was not at all a hypothetical. âHow much coffee do you think is too much? Like to concerning levels.â
âUhm...â Effy said, as she could tell that Egan definitely had quite a bit of energy. Actually, he had enough that it seemed that he could barely sit still in that moment. âI want to say maybe as much as youâve probably had. How much have you had, if you donât mind me asking?â
âCan you please hold her,â Reagan asked the oldest sibling of the Schultz family, Aiden as she held her baby girl towards him. Now it was customary for their parents, Adam and Effy to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Theyâd been doing as such for as long as the kids could remember, but this year... their parents had been booked and busy due to the supernatural circuit and as a collective, their children decided theyâll take on the job. âWhich one do you want, Harlow?â Reagan asked the designated chef of their family, as she held up two cans of cranberry sauce. Â
âNeither.â Harlow let his sister know with a scrunch of his nose. âEveryone knows the best is the one you make yourself.â Harlow scoffed, nudging Ainsley playfully as he pushed the shopping cart. âWhat would she do without us? Seriously.â ( @ghostbusteradamâ )
â[âŠ]The whole movie makes me really nervous, man. It makes me excited. Itâs so different and new for me, and weâre talking about some really sensitive shit here, and I feel like the movie really has a point and really says something, so itâs nerve-wracking a little bit.â

âMy current urge right now is to eat a pretzel as big as my face,â Farrah mused. âAnd I will not be judged for that,â
âAnd thatâs a bad thing?â Harlow asked Farrah, with a rise of his eyebrow. âWho said we canât eat pretzels as big as our faces? Whoever said that is whack.â Harlow cupped his hands around his mouth to say the last word, wanting whoever said that to hear his rebuttal. âThen letâs get some.â

Egan snorted, unable to help himself when he saw Effyâs face. âUh huh,â He said with a grin, before pausing when he saw the look on her face. He raised an eyebrow, âIf either of you two messed with my system Baker, thatâs fighting talk,â
âOh, come on.â Effy said, her eyes growing wide and her lips pouting out. âYou canât be upset with this face thatâs committed to bringing you Halloween greatness.â She let him know before nudging him playfully, happy to see that bright grin on his face. Sure, Egan might be the grumpy cat of their friend group but seeing him happy... it was really nice. âActually, I do need your help though. I need an epic spooky playlist because Iâm actually going to turn headquarters into a spooky ooky walk through experience for the kiddos of Rosewood.â

âItâs alright,â Egan couldnât help but tease Effy, âWhat do you have in store for us? You didnât paint my station orange did you?â He nudged her a little.
âAlright?â Effy was pretty sure her eyes popped out of her head in that moment. âPuh-lease, itâs more than just alright.â She let Egan know with a playful scoff, shaking her head. âUhm... letâs say I did that... just how would you be upset?â Effy asked, a devious smirk working at her lips. âAnd if it is orange, Iâd like to put it out there that it was Adamâs idea.â

âWow people have started early,â Egan remarked, hands in his pockets as he walked - glancing at the Halloween decorations that one house was already putting up. It looked like they were trying to turn their entire house, orange. âItâs only October 1st.â
âDonât you just love it?â Effy asked Egan excitedly. She was a lover of all holidays but Halloween was one of the big ones for her. âJust you wait until you see the office.â Effy teased, because sheâd definitely gone above and beyond. This was the Ghostbusters season and it was time to celebrate it up. âItâs a moment.â

jamie.
âIt does have itâs own scientific merits to it. How to you not know public opinion if the public is not asked. â Jamie added at hearing her comment. he knew a hundred percent she was right and appreciated her entertaining the question. He nodded his head at the mention of recording. he was trying to make thingâs more professional lately. â So would you say that you just provide the tools for belief but ultimately each person is going to have their own opinions?â He asked, trying to gauge what her next words would be. Of course he knew of Effy and her crew. He genuinely appreciated them because he felt more like he wasnt on his own in his interests with the others around.Â
âThatâs exactly what Iâm saying. At the end of the day, itâs always up to someone whether they want to believe. Sure, you can provide all the proof in the world, but itâs up to them. Our jobs, itâs to provide that proof and to educate, from then on, itâs up to them.â Effy let him know, as that mindset had applied to so many things in her life. âSo why the question?â She asked Jamie, raising an eyebrow playfully. âDonât tell me, is this an elaborate lead in to asking me if the Ghostbusters want to help Jamie Geary investigate something?â
â This probably seems random, but Iâm doing a poll for my next topic and I need a few different opinions to flesh out the whole thingâ Jamie replied as he started to record audio from his phone. He was trying to find new thingâs for the podcast now that her knew he was one of many that dealt with the same topics. â What would you try to do or say to convince someone that something supernatural was actually real?â
â i happen to be a fan of random questions, how else would you come up to answers to things? right? â effy asked him right back, as she was sure he understood where it was that she was coming from. â oh, youâre recording? â effy looked down at his phone. of course, she knew of jamie geary. the ghostbusters and herself were quite the fan of his podcast, so she was excited for whatever he was about to ask her. â well, as a ghostbuster, we live by the motto of investigate said hauntings and provide proof. from there, itâs up to the person to decide if they do or donât believe. but we like to show hard proof. â
lark.
âCare to help a girl in need?â Lark asked as her eyes caught a passerby in the library, pointing a manicured finger at a book on the very top shelf. âSee that book up there? The red one? I need it. And before you make a comment about my height, just know that some of these books are awfully heavy and Iâm not afraid to retaliate.â
âHow am I suppose to do that?â Effy asked Lark as they werenât that far apart in the heigh department. âWhat book is that?â She asked her, narrowing her eyes as she craned her head back. âCanât we... I donât know, find the e-version?â She asked, as she lazily looked around for a ladder. âMan, the things we do for our soulmates or whatever.â
adamâ.
âSee, I trust your mind. We should just knock it out now, we can call your dad on the way, make sure heâs alright with Aiden spending the night. Ghostbusters mini road trip and we wonât get back all that late, and pick the little big man up first thing in the AM.â Adam leaned over and kissed Effy, âEasy.â
âYou trust my mind. I think thatâs the most romantic thing youâve ever said to me, babe.â Effy said with a playful bat of her eyelashes. âThen letâs knock it out.â She said with a nod of her head, before her boyfriendâs lips found hers. âYup.â She agreed. âWait, you missed something.â Effy said, watching as he looked around before she leaned up to kiss him once again. âNow, now we can go.â She grinned, excited to see what would come from this visit.
To say they were lucky was an understatement. Sometimes, Adam remembered how hard it was to figure out how they were going to navigate a kid, and tell their dad, and then actually learn to become parents, but they had an amazing support system in their fathers. âBetween your dad and mine Iâm surprised we get to see Aiden at all.â He chuckled, and in that moment missed his kid, wondering what he was doing, âHuh? Oh I canât make the call. Weâll have to drive over and check the place out to know for sure. Itâs about 45 minutes away.âÂ
âWeâre so going to have to have a family meeting about this.â Effy teased. Her boyfriend didnât even have to tell her what heâd felt in that moment. There was something about loving somewhere you just knew how they felt, just by looking at them. He missed their little guy and Effy did as well. But Parker and Egan needed them, so here they were. âDo you want to do that today or should we call it?â She asked Adam, as sheâd understand if he wanted to call it. As would the guys, they understood that as much as they wanted to be a part of the team... they had other priorities to attend to. âI think we should probably see it through, so we give Aiden our undivided time once we see him.âÂ
They couldnât really know until they were at a place physically, and Adam could pick up on something in a location, but theyâve gotten good enough at what they do to have a pretty good idea based on their initial research. This one though, he wasnât convinced it was or wasnât. He laughed at the face Effy pulled, it was pretty dead on, âKnowing your dad, heâll probably  just want him to spend the night.âÂ
âThank you, thank you.â Effy said with a small bow. âOh, he most definitely will. I need to get dad a dog or something. I swear heâs lonely in that house of his.â To say that Aiden had come into a family that utterly adored him was an understatement. Sure, he came into their lives a little earlier than expected but his arrival had been beyond welcomed. âSo how do you feel about this place?â She asked Adam. âCome on, tell me if you feel anything or if this is just one big hoax in hopes of getting on the show?â Effy asked, as thatâd happened to them as the Ghostbusters notoriety grew.
âPlease do. If I didnât have to go to the gymâŠlife would be even sweeter. Whoa that was an awesome plot twist if Iâve ever heard one.â He shook his head as she yelled to Egan, âSo what do you think. Does this place have potential or can this be logically explained?âÂ
âI do feel bad for all of those thatâll miss out on the sight of all of that.â Effy said, as she knew very well that her boyfriend was an eleven out of ten. People surely enjoyed the sight of him working out, she wouldnât be shocked if that was one of the reasons people even went to the gym. âA part of me thinks we should definitely see this through. From what Iâve seen, everything points to something being here.â Effy nodded. âPlus dad is enjoying his baby time, so maybe we shouldnât be rushing to get that done with. I donât want to deal with that grumpy face of his.â Effy said, pulling the face soon after as Adam had seen it often.Â
