A year ago I thought I'd lost my very best friend. But now I'm in a new house unpacking boxes, quietly listening to music, and listening to the sound of his laughter float from one room and into my ears.

I will never be not amazed at how things change in life and how different things can look from one year to the next. I will cherish this time in my life until the day it all goes black. I hope I get to take these memories with me even beyond then. It's all too precious.
