I’m just throwing shit to the fan to see what sticks but what if…hear me out… fionna and Finn are siblings in some other dimension. Cause fionna has Minerva’s last name and Finn has martins. Cause why else would fionna have the last name Campbell? Simon/ice king wouldn’t have known that so they could’ve given fionna any last name. But they chose Campbell.

So like, 

I don’t have any new thoughts about the Fionna and Cake beam from the episode ‘Fionna and Cake and Fionna’, that I didn’t cover in other posts, but it feels like it’s worth posting for folk who forgot it existed. (Fair af. I forgot we saw Queen of Ooo in that episode, looking exactly like she does as Queenie the bus tour boss.)

Like, who DO we think was beaming the Fionna and Cake dreams into Ice King’s head (and was also intercepted by the tech savvy rabbit girl’s TV one time) with a suspicious red beam? It feels like something that would be hella below the station of someone like Golb, or Prismo despite the familiar red/cosmic imagination/multiverse based beam.

And honestly, the fact that someone WAS beaming them at Ice King rather than Fionna and Cake being naturally formed in his imagination is…. WAY more weird and mysterious tbh.

Actually, this makes the childification of Michael in the movie when he’s 15 in the book really funny:

How to Improve your Productivity

1. Plan your day in advance. That means you can get up and get started right away instead of frittering away time.

2. Decide on your priorities, and do the most important things first.

3. Also, do the hardest task first. Otherwise, they will niggle at you constantly and slowly drain away your energy.

4. Avoid multi-tasking when you’re working on something important.

5. However, it’s good to multitask when we’re doing menial, repetitive and boring tasks.

6. Ditch requests and tasks that are unimportant, and a total waste of time.

7. Commit to NOT procrastinating. Ask a friend to keep you accountable.

8. Be organised. This includes engaging in advanced planning; knowing what you need for the task; having everything you need close at hand; bundling similar tasks together; and working in a relatively tidy and clutter-free environment.

9. Cut out distractions and avoid time wasters.

10. Know what your most productive time of day is and treat that as a sacrosanct period for working.

11. Get into the habit of shutting off racing, distracting and negative thoughts. This is a crucial form of self-discipline.

12. Break large tasks down into smaller sub-tasks – and set achievable deadlines for these.
