archiving my entire snapchat memories day ??????: I have reached the hellzone. May/June 2022. 600+ snaps altogether. it's mostly walls of text and minute-long videos of me rambling. and they're ALL about swagtre

#i'm like SHUT THE FUCK UP HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THEM #and then i'll get to the next snap and it's more general tflu brainrot #i now understand how my sister must've felt having to be the one probably receiving the messages #i can't even complain though bc 22yo me was like one of my favourite versions of myself so she isn't annoying me too much #she's moderately entertaining. to me. and also the tflu brainrot never truly left so i can enjoy the contents of each snap mostly #it switches between like. 8 pictures in a row of like the same picture of swag taken off my laptop but with different filters on it #followed by 4 basically identical videos of the sunset outside my window #followed by a dinner pic. and then maybe a video of like one of my uni housemates falling down the stairs or something #and then like 5 minutes worth of videos in a row of me crying and explaining every detail of some swagtre fanfic i just read #like archiving that is pretty fun #anyway the nostalgia got too intense and i'm listening to swagtre songs and Contemplating them when i should be sleeping #i'm gonna throw up they were literally everything #ramble

#is it Actually a perfect song or does it just tick all my requirements? yes #genre of post i've made multiple times before probably but like ?? it's in my favourite key #uses not my Favourite chord progression but it's Close and the chord progression it does use is probably in my top 10 anyway so like #the oooohhh bit in the chorus is like. one of the best things you can do with a melody. going down the top 4 notes of an octave #ESPECIALLY in relation to the chords being 4 and 5 while that's going on. insane thing to do #and then??? the main vocals doing the same at the end #''and how long will it take before you START TO HATE YOURSELF and go straight to the ARMS OF SOMEONE ELSE''#like the capitalised bits. whatever those lines have going on is perfect #ughhhhhhh. apparently it's my most listened to song of all time on spotify and i'm NOT SURPRISED #only heard it in june 2022 and yet it's my no.1 song of all time #i think for legal reasons i can't call it my Favourite Song bc that title will always go to the who the kids are alright #and that kind of has superiority bc not only have i known it for longer. i also heard it at Influential Music Taste Age (14)#and that's also a perfect song so like. calling that my favourite song of all time prevents things from getting complicated #my identity is so fragile that i can't claim things to be my Favourite unless i have like. some sort of physical proof #and by that i guess i mean. how many memories in my life can i attach it to #ANYWAY my point being. for my own sense of self i cannot claim hate yourself to be my favourite song #but by god is it up there......#it's basically sat next to the kids are alright #and tbh my experience of being 22 was basically just like being 14 again but older. so they're basically the same song #one uses my favourite chord progression. the other is in my favourite key #if they combined in some form it would probably kill me instantly in a really graphic yet abstract way #anyway. good night #ramble

The hiring process has never been great, but in the past couple of years it’s hit rock bottom. Ghost jobs probably outnumber real jobs on job sites. Recruiters and HR use AI which throws out 90% of resumes before a real human being sees them. And most companies are hellbent on holding out for a unicorn candidate- meaning someone who already knows how to do the EXACT role without any training while also accepting entry level wages- instead of investing in new people.

It’s fucking hard out there right now. You are not alone and it’s not your fault if you can’t get hired.

it really is annoying as hell how someone will talk about how poor people can't avoid ethically dubious products because of how being poor works and then someone with a two story house in the suburbs will take that to mean they can order harry potter books through a drone delivery from amazon and if you criticize that you're a bigot
