sungchan reminds me of a cold spring night.

u two are desperate to get warm as u entangle urselves together, sharing laughs as u bunch up under the giant comforter and fuzzy blanket, teeth chattering together as u both smile. he'll frantically rub at ur arms to warm u up, asking the goosebumps on ur skin to go down.

he loves looking at u before he sleeps, knowing ur the last thing he sees before dozing off makes him feel content. the small conversations u two have before falling into a comfortable silence after mutually agreeing its time to close ur eyes. u always shut urs first, his fingers grazing over ur features as he hums a sweet tune.

but he seems to always be the first one to fall asleep, so u shovel his hand into urs, giving the back of his hand soft strokes with ur thumb as u start to drift off as well.

its rare u fall asleep first, but when u do, sungchan lets his hands linger around, leaving his palm to rest comfortably against ur cheek, thumb pressing against ur plush lips. he completely zones out, finding so much comfort in holding something so precious to him that he just falls asleep minutes after u.

u both wake up to the warm, early mornings. sun beams filtering through cracks in ur curtains, blankets tossed off slightly to the side from the residual heat u both felt while asleep. his arm is tossed over u with his stomach laid flat down against the mattress. u lay still on ur side, limbs kept to themselves, eyes beginning to flutter open. somehow, ur both still facing each other.
