How I feel when I had to leave London
Last day ):
We went up the Shard today to visit AJ+ which was amazing to see another worldwide news organization. I felt like they were more upfront with us than the BBC. We also went to Harrods, which made me feel poor, but also made me want to be able to purchase one thing from there that isn't a piece of lint.
Museums for miles
We went to basically museums all day today. The British Museum was interesting because we got to see all the works that England stole from the world. We also went to King's Cross Station to basically pose with a trolly half way in a wall. That's a reference to Harry Potter if you didn't know. Then we saw Buckingham Palace which was beautiful as usual.
Today we went to the Globe Theatre to see a production. We stood right where the stage was, which was both tiring and outstanding. We saw "A Mid Summer Night's Dream" which had an interesting twist. Before the Globe we had high tea which is a must while in England. Cucumber sandwiches for live.
Better late than never
So since my tumblr wouldn't post that often the next few posts will be about the rest of the trip
Doing tourist stuff
Today we were tourists and we went to Bath, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle. It was a good day, I loved Bath but I didnāt love getting lost. I donāt mind getting lost with people but it is terrifying when you have a time limit. I also enjoyed going back to Windsor Castle because I went there five years ago. It was just as beautiful.Ā
Radio Stations arenāt too shabby
Today we went to Spectre Radio and The London College of Communication. It was fun to see all of the students who went to the school. The radio station seemed much smaller than expended.
London: Day One: COMPLETE
Yesterday and today has been exhausting and I feel like I am going to pass out. We took off around 10pm last night and got into Paris around 11am for a layover. We saw Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and of course we ate fish and chips. Overall, with running on low energy today was a good first day.
I head to London tomorrow so hereās a picture from the London Tower to celebrate.
