Originally revived my dead Tumblr to find Rugan from Baldur’s Gate 3 content because everything about him just snatched my soul from my body and I couldn’t find him anywhere

Being back has inspired me to start making art for personal enjoyment again; will be posting mostly BG3 stuff, absolutely will be Rugan posting as soon as I get my page figured out and I have a few OCs in the works that’ll be fleshed out here! Generally, I’m v v open to talking, feel free to drop any advice/asks/sketch requests!!

(Might open up jewelry requests in the future but idk the demand for that/will be limited to what I can do at home with a torch/kiln/jeweler’s saw)

Ran out of salt somehow and added white miso and kombu to my chicken noodle soup recipe and it’s the most amazing thing I’ve done in recent history 😭

I can’t even taste the individual flavors of these two ingredients, they meld soo well into the chicken broth

I don't watch lore videos about dnd, especially in english, so I probably never would have found out if @steamclouds hadn't told me personally. But what a surprise to see my own art (which I drew as a commission for someone else) in a screenshot from a YouTube video without a single mention of who actually drew it

I mean, I've spent this entire week trying to figure out where to get money and I'm incredibly grateful to the followers who helped push my donations to the amount I can actually withdraw in my country. And then there's this guy making money off our creative work, a guy with more followers than I could ever have in my entire life.

And I'm not alone in this. his videos include numerous works by other Tumblr artists, also without any links to their pages or other social media. Must be really convenient to build your own content by leeching off other people's work without even asking for permission.

By the way, if this guy had written to me, asked to use my work, and credited me in the video, I would have been more than happy. But I guess reaching out to artists and including their names in the video is just too much trouble

Hey everyone. A kind friend reached out to me and informed me that the youtuber "The Drow Historian", who's known for using a lot of genAI imagery in his videos, is now also using art from artists in the community. There's pieces by @pidgeydraws and me, and neither of us were ever approached or asked for permission by him to use our art.

There's tons of art by other artists in the community. From two videos alone (these: 1. 2.) I gathered these artists:

@imagazhiraga , @the-nothing-maker , @luthierscurse , @epiclad and several others, though they don't have tumblr I think.

this is just unacceptable behaviour, this guy is definitely earning money and cannot even ask the people who breathe life into the community for permission. Some of these artworks used are commissioned pieces as well, by @estellisa and @khaytiefari

Ate the fish my dad caught from the Atlantic ocean with gusto and would fuss that entire week that I had fresh caught whiting on the table but my partner just tried to give her some tilapia and she refused it
