i really wanted to participate in eight/fitz week this year but it’s been a v busy time for me lately…this prompt was just too good and angsty to pass up, tho, so i had to throw something together for it!!

idek what the concept for this tbh….fitz is summoned to the war to be used as like,, bait for the doctor or something and the doctor hasn’t seen him in decades and neither can quite believe the other is real. pain ensues

They’ve been through a few post apocalypses before but fitz is really leaning into this ones aesthetic, the Doctor not so much. Neither of them are big fans of the zombies For day 4 of eight/fitz week: post apocalyptic

A classic moment for day 3 of eight/fitz week: cannon moments

Fitz hunkered down in front of the Doctor, peering up worriedly into his hooded eyes. The Doctor offered him another thready smile, reached behind Fitz’s ear, and produced a bruised red apple. Fitz shook his head. The Doctor considered the fruit, sucked his teeth, winced, sighed, and put the apple in his coat pocket.

I couldn’t draw anything properly this week for some reason but I finally managed to produce something at least halfway decent for Eight/Fitz week: this scene from Frontier Worlds I like so much, for “canon moments” day.  Fitz wants to hug the Doctor but he’s a coward.

(This also isn’t really how the lighting in this scene is supposed to be at all but you know what when art block hits u gotta take what goes on your paper and not complain)
