The Eighth Doctor in DOCTOR WHO: THE MOVIE
The Eighth Doctor in THE NIGHT OF THE DOCTOR
❤️Happy McGann Monday!❤️
Paul and Amanda Donohoe promoting Paper Mask at the Cannes Film Festival in May 1990.
Paul (presumably at last year’s event) plugging October’s Timelash in Germany.
“I have a heart condition. I have a heart condition—if you hit me it’s murder.”
For your Monday, have a dose of bed-headed, red-robed Mark- we all need one I mean look at himmm
PAUL MCGANN as the EIGHTH DOCTOR
The Doctor Who TV Movie has no right being this beautiful. The way it is shot the music the soundtrack. The plot almost seems to have been an afterthought to simply making the mist beautiful Doctor Who episode ever.
Nothing in Doctor Who has ever looked like this before or after.
The directing is amazing the movement the acting I love it all.
Why is is so beautiful tell me tell me why?
And why is the score so so good? I love it!!!
shhh, they`re in love
For lolobetrippin
Therapeutic Eight and his stupid beautiful face
say what you want about the eighth dr movie but one of my favorite bits of characterization for the doctor comes from there:
grace, with bewildered amazement: “you have two hearts!”
the doctor, ignoring her completely and mourning a dead composer: “IT [puccini’s death] WAS SO SAD!”
Caerdroia is hilarious because Tigger!Eight is just Paul McGann’s performance of Eight from the TV movie in a Big Finish plot. Like that’s not a split facet of your personality, Doc, that’s just you when you still had a zest for life.
'The Chimes of Midnight' destroyed me emotionally, but it also contains one of the funniest lines i've ever heard the Doctor say. the whole exchange is hysterical.
[transcript]
SHAUGHNESSY: I assume it was suicide, Doctor?
DOCTOR: Yes, I imagine so. It's quite clear that Frederick brought the car into the house, ran himself over with it, and put it back outside before he finally expired.
CHARLEY: Doctor!
SHAUGHNESSY: Most unfortunate.
Withnail & I (1987)
I laughed at this more than I should have…
God, that’s so hilarious!
