crazy how the things in our houses become invisible. the little decorations we place the ones that stay in the same corner for years at first feel intentional chosen. then they just… exist. u stop noticing them, but they’ve seen everything! the happy days, the quiet nights, the sad moments, and the phases you’ve outgrown. then one day your eyes land on that same corner again.. really land! and suddenly it’s like opening a time capsule. every version of you that ever walked past it comes rushing back. the song that played that day, the person you were, the air that felt heavier or lighter depending on what was happening.

it’s beautiful how still objects can hold so much motion. maybe that’s why it feels a little sacred to look at them again and to realize they never stopped witnessing even when you stopped seeing.
