introductory post but its really shit im not even gonna freaking lie to you bud.

hi i go by many names but you can refer to me as jack/jackie/beckett/mace (this is in order of preference) im a minor so dont act weird towards me esp if youre an adult plspls

I also have basic dni criteria (racist, sexist, homophobe, etc etc) but also dni if you publicly post and or regularly engage in pr0ship/c0mship/d4rkship content, are in tcc, in reichfandom or any other problematic fandom.

im a very fresh potc fan (just got into it this year) so there may be some references or things i will not be able to get just yet so bear with me ;_;

i like pulling rarepairs or ships no one has ever possibly considered before out of my ass and talking about them. youll most likely see a lot of that here. one of them is GovernedPearl/📜🏴‍☠️/Barboswann and theres really stupid lore about them that ill talk about soon enough in this blog too

what if the reason elizabeth was so drawn to pirates since she was a child was because she actually has pirate blood in her because her dad fucked around with barbossa once when he was younger and that somehow lead to the birth of elizabeth

lord. okay wait I need to clarify about some things but this just gives me an excuse to talk about them more

I originally had this ship planned out in a way where Barbossa was the one who birthed Elizabeth—on the Black Pearl mind you—and that Jack most likely had a hand in helping him in the birth but was too drunk on rum to really remember a thing.

I also had it planned where Barbossa gave Elizabeth a necklace (haven't figured out what exactly is on that necklace yet) so that he can always be with her in some form. I imagine that Weatherby always told Elizabeth that it was from her 'mother', but never really clarified more on it. I also imagine that Weatherby was quite vague about Elizabeth's 'mother' in general, never referring to her by 'name' and almost getting upset whenever the young girl insisted on knowing more about 'her'.

Because what was Swann supposed to say? That her 'mother' just abandoned her on his doorstep one day because 'she' couldn't raise her 'herself'? That 'she' told him that "children aren't fit for the pirate life, especially not little girls"?

Ill need to clean up on their lore sometime soon....

i want everyone to know that i came up with barboswann because i noticed that all of the main wig-wearers had at least 1 pirate situationship/relationship/[title]ship. weatherby was just the only one without one.... and coincidentally (as far as I know) barbossa also didnt have a wig-wearing situationship/relationship/[title]ship..

the reason for elizabeth's interest in piracy was probably answered and i just havent figured it out yet but i like to think that these two had something together when they were younger, one of them birthed elizabeth, barbossa abandoned her and weatherby and thats how Elizabeth grew up without a mother and also the reason why she's so into piracy. And also why weatherby didnt want her to be exposed to piracy because it probably reminded him of his ex and he didnt want her leaving him like barbossa did
