You know, there are pros and cons to necromancy that nobody really discusses. When I started out in the necromancy business, I lived in an apartment. I was on the second floor when I accidentally real-casted my practice-cast of Summon Skeleton Chef. I thought “well; there goes a whole weeks worth of calcium supply”, when all of a sudden I hear the weirdest sound from below. It sounded like things banging against the pipes in the walls, and just when I was about to call my landlord for the 5th time, a flurry of bones popped out the hvac system! I didn’t know this, but apparently, so long as there is a hidden way to you, such as hallow walls or vents, you can ground summon bones from just about anywhere!

Of course, there are cons. For one thing, if the only bones available are deep, and you happen to be somewhere like a penthouse, it’s gonna take a while. Have you *tried* convincing your sacrifices volunteers to stay still and wait for the undead to swiftly disassemble them like a lego set? It’s not easy. And you remember what I said about hidden spaces? Turns out bones have horrid stage fright. They can only be okay with being seen if they are A: already becoming a Skeleton Warrior, or B: bursting out the ground as a whole. If one single bone, even a tiny hand one, gets spotted before their big reveal? The whole shebang is called off! I can’t blame them truly, I understand wanting to be only seen as well put-together.

Nowadays, it’s a lot easier for me to just carry calcium and marrow whenever I go, now that I’ve perfected my signature spell; Fabricate Bone. Weighs a ton tho, so I have to be at least a little fit.

I have a bumper sticker that says “Honk if you worship the old gods.” Today on the highway, got jumpscared by a massive truck honking at me. Got terrified and wondered what I did (we were stuck in traffic and moving slowly), looked over, and the dude was smiling, giving me a thumbs up, and pointed to my bumper sticker. I laughed SO hard.
