The Horizon bill has failed to meet the necessary quorum in the Assembly and has entered back into the reading stage. As such, President Emizerri has announced that it will not pass in time for Flag Day on the 12th, as the government originally wished.

Syri Moghamadan Meizcherni vi Ezerrye is declared the winner of the election and shall take his seat on 25 May 2025.
BREAKING: Syri vi Ezerrye wins a landslide against incumbent Zerrindou.
Syri, a comeback king, was expected to win an upset victory before the Dawnbreaker Coup last week. Defeating the coup by rallying the people and allies to his defence, Syri will now lead come the 25th.
In a victory speech, Syri thanked the Easwegian nation for placing their trust in him, stating that he is proud of the journey all Easwegians have shared. He stated that his work will begin even before inauguration and repeated his campaign slogan "Out of many, one people."

BREAKING NEWS: The public has rejected Grand Councillor Zerrindou's Dawnbreaker bill, with 60% voting against.
Aleksoundër Zerrindou's campaign team has expressed concern about the course of his campaign and chances for election next week, stating that "[he] need[s] [his] one trump card available to play ASAP."

Emizerri has silently removed his endorsement for either Grand Councillor candidates Aleksoundër Zerrindou or Syri vi Ezerrye.

The Dawnbreaker bill referendum is currently being held, with the public heading to the polls to vote on whether they shall enact it into law.
President Emizerri, initially in favour of the bills, has doubts over its wide scope and powers granted to the Grand Councillor.

President Emizerri has announced his campaign to abolish prefectures, which serve as junior constituent boundaries in the Assembly. Instead, he proposes prefects be elected directly as deputies of their municipality. So instead, only townships would exist under municipalities.
Last night, following Grand Marshal Archiennè's public detention & release of a civilian in Boriopa Square, Grand Councillor Zerrindou has invoked his powers under the 2024 National Integrity Act and suspended Archiennè's duties pending investigation, taking full control of EMD.
