(also part of the reason i’ve been so inactive here)

i apologize if i'm heavily inactive for some time because in addition to school taking up my time i also learned that my health is in a god-awful place right now. there's a strong possibility i could be hospitalized again and I don't want to go through what I did before a year ago. so that's putting some extreme stress on me because i'm trying my damned hardest not to fall back into old habits that put me in my current situation. so i'm sorry if i'm not doing much anywhere but i'm trying to help myself by cleaning up my act and getting myself to a healthier standpoint.

thank you all for being patient with me. i’m sorry if i haven’t gotten to our things. i’m all over the place right now and honestly i’m just trying hard not to cry over the fact that this condition endangers my life.

Why did he agree to this again? Ah, right... because Shigaraki was too much of a pansy to establish proper relationships to begin with. Whether this was an attempt to settle the score on their endeavors or arrange things so that they’re not constantly at each other’s throats, Kugo didn’t know. What he really cared about was being here at all, in the meeting place established by the two factions that presented itself an open grounds for Kugo and a leader of the Yakuza to meet.

He was flanked by four armed guards, people dressed fancily as though they were attending a bachelor’s party, yet armed with weapons that were lowered and never raised (unless on Kugo’s strict permission). His underlings were obedient to him, which was all he needed. Although he figured he wouldn’t have an issue taking him on by himself, it was always good to have backup, just in case.

When the doors to the facility open and Chisaki steps inside, Kugo’s back straightens and his rough eyes peer past a glimmering light outside of the facility to the silhouette of the Yakuza leader. A pungent growl escaped his lips as he steps forward, beckoning to his underlings to stay put for the mean time, as he approaches Overhaul with an air of caution in his step.

“So you’re the one Shigaraki ain’t too happy about...”

He nearly spits, his unimpressive take on the man before him leaving something to be desired.

“Can’t say you don’t look exactly how I pictured you.”

She’s been practicing it ever since she was born - the ability to attune to elements and breathe them out as a breath attack - although she normally doesn’t use it when around city limits. After all, it would be bad if she accidentally set an entire town ablaze just because she was using her fire attacks. It’s why she chooses to breathe ice or acid if necessary. They’re much more effective without being that much of an environmental disaster.

She does take careful notice of the gas mask over his face and the scars that are present on his exposed skin. She may not ask him about it yet, but perhaps that’ll be a good ice breaker at some point.

“It’s something that took me years of training to master. It’s still dangerous to use to this day, which is why I prefer to use brute strength. Why do you ask?”
