I want to draw my characters, digitally, but I've been so stuck drawing people lately, so I drew more planta with colour pencils. I really like the greater periwinkle one, but the cherry blossom should have had more branches with flowers or been more of a close-up, or maybe without the blue background :/

I'm going to make them fall in love, but in the kind of way that MAYBE I could if I ever fell in love. VERY slowly, professional respect -> intellectual connection -> trust -> friendship within naval hierarchy -> romantic feelings that they do not initially pursue because it would be on unequal ground -> circumstances separate them -> years later reunited -> awkward -> reconnect -> yei! -> marry

Mirevárs is going to be involved in a mutiny and tried and dismissed, so she becomes a hrydrographer and cartographer, which suits her inquisitive mind better and away from strict naval discipline and hierarchy. They are reunited on an expedition, Anárik is the captain of the expedition's ship.

Also, she's asexual

Uff, it's been too long. Have a wip

Portrayed here is Sailing Master Mirevárs Sevérin, of the Véskar Navy, my new darling oc of my new darling story that I'm very slowly writing (still in chapter 1 of actual writing/narrating, but a lot more planned and full of notes and ideas)

The university had a contest for designing the holiday ecard banner thingy, they asked for themes of "unity, kindness and inclusivity" and festive lights, so I decided to paint birds from around the world decorating a christmas tree.

The background was tricky, depending on the screen the colour looks different, I hope it looks decent on yours.
