So much back and forth, analysis, and commentary about the USMNT game, but one constant I love seeing being highlighted is:

Support your local team.

It’s important to interact with the sport beyond the international team, and most importantly, grow the game domestically by keeping it culturally relevant.

USL, NWSL, MLS, it doesn’t matter. These are the leagues producing free youth academies in retaliation to the expensive pay-to-play model, being played in your own backyard, and can be supported inter generationally for years to come.

Of course, it’s not perfect. We’re decades behind, but it grows everyday with the people’s support.

Obviously a hard loss, but I’m an optimist at heart.❤️

For a just a moment this country felt united in rallying behind this team, singing in unison, crying together, and thats all I really asked for.

Winning a cup is years away; holding our hands together we can do today, tomorrow, and always.

Frustrating game, obviously 🤷‍♀️ But either you sit in your own misery or take it as a learning lesson.
