Ichigo enters the classroom after a chaotic morning being chased around by delinquents and the disciplinary committee.
When he sits down, a playful surprise attack hits him on the back.
He turns around standing there was someone he knew well. His old friend Orihime, who he had constantly been around during their middle school days. She was one of the few familiar faces after they started going to Karakura High School.
Orihime: "My, my, Kurosaki-kun, you haven't changed a bit."
Ichigo: "That line should be mine! Inoue…! What did you attack me for out of nowhere?!"
Orihime says teasingly (speaking about herself - I think): "Oh my, being in the same class as Inoue is truly wonderful~ Could this be considered a manifestation of our unique, unspoken bond?"
Rukia, nodding in agreement: "Yes, Inoue really does possess a unique sensibility."
Ichigo asks when Rukia and Orihime became close friends.
Rukia: "A lot of things happened~"
Orihime: "Setting that aside, Kurosaki-kun! How does this school feel? Even though it's only the first day, you already went on a massive sprint this morning before club activities even started!"
