"You are under my protection, child, so you may never fear those who attempt to harm you." -- (SoulboundRot)
"Oh!" she gasped, tilting her head back to gaze up at the tall troll. He was...different, not quite as physically imposing as some of the gumm-gumms, but there was an air of danger about him.
She noticed how the gumm-gumms seemed to give her new visitor a wide berth, and any who crept near immediately backed off under his golden leer. If Gunmar was allowing this troll into his territory, then he must've earned the warlord's respect to some degree. "Thank you, friend," she said, still somewhat wary but less afraid knowing she was safe in his presence. "It's nice knowing there's someone looking out for me."

“Friend?” Angor tilted his head ever the slightest with a confused murmur, “I am your guardian, not...friend,” He snorted as a response and stood tall in the presence of the smallish human. The assassin glanced down ever so often to see the female eyeing him out of curiosity...curiosity...why? “Is there something you would like to say to me, child?” He smirked.
"Ah...forgive me, but...why would you protect me?" Tilting her head, she added, "I'm grateful, but not many trolls care for humans...not that I can blame them. Gunmar barely tolerates me in his territory either, so hearing you say you're now my guardian...it feels strangely out of the blue."
